Frantz
In August 2015, the successful French director François Ozon came to Görlitz to produce his film “Frantz“. In this film, encounters at the grave play a central role. The cemetery Nikolaifriedhof in Görlitz provided the perfect setting for these scenes. With its Baroque crypts and tombstones, it creates an almost magical atmosphere, which is beautifully reflected in the film, too.
