5-day programme: A team of six cities - the Lusatian League
In 1346 Bautzen, Görlitz, Kamenz, Löbau, Zittau and Lauban (Lubań) came together, to form the Lusatian League, thus creating a strong and influential counterbalance to the landed aristocracy. The cooperation between the cities as a federation for the protection of the peace in the region survived until 1815.
On your trip through the six cities you will experience stories from 1,000 years of Upper Lusatian history.
The programme is available the whole year round, with overnight accommodation possible in Görlitz, Zittau or Bautzen. The programme can also be adapted to your own requirements in that the starting point can be freely selected.
The day's programmes are interchangeable, depending on where the overnight accommodation is booked.
